Newbie question about Kids Clubs

Hi Everyone,

We are considering our first cruise. I've been looking at the Dream. The kids clubs really interest us but I had a few questions that I'm hoping someone can answer:
1) Can you leave the kids there on Embarkation day or is it all unsupervised open houses?
2) I see that they can eat lunch and dinner there. Can anyone tell me what time meals are served?
3) What hours is the kids club open on Castaway Cay? Is it any fun?

1) Embarkation day (up until the muster drill) is only Open House in the clubs. There's no actual kid's programming and no dropping off kids.
2) I'm not sure of the time, but it's noted in the Navigator. I think it's usually around 12:45 & 6:15. But may be different on different ships. Here's a link with some more info: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/cr-childrensactivities.htm#kidsdinner
3) Generally Scuttles Cove is open 9:00am - 4:00pm.

No, typically they still are on Open house. "Regular" hours begin around 7pm on most cruises. Oceaneer's Club will generally go to drop off around 5:00 with the Lab remaining in Open House until later.

My daughter, 8, loves the kids club on Castaway Cay! I forget what all is there, but they have lots of shade and plenty to do. She would happily stay there all day if we let her.
