newbie question about dvc member site

can you see the ressies you made on the site?

we just made ressies using our developer points over the weekend.

flights just dropped a HUGE amount,but i have not gotten a confirmation via mail or email, so i am nervous about spending money on airfare when i have nothing "in writing" to show for our points!

sorry i am being anal! just curious!

I see reservations booked on "normal" points -- but not reservations booked on "developer" points.

I was told the other day that it would take 2-3 weeks to get a confirmation. I was asked if I wanted to receive it by email or mail...I asked for an email.

She stressed to me many times that we had the 2 rooms reserved, and to go ahead and make all our plans. Because they are developer points I guess it takes longer to get the confirmation. I also think i remember her saying they would not show up on the member website.

I know what you mean about making plans. We are doing the cruise the week before, and had already make a reservation at POR for the next week...I am nervous to go ahead and cancel it until I receive the confirmation email. Just incase!

They will be sending you a printed confirmation. You should get it in 7 to 10 days. If you want to verify the confirmation number now, call MS, tell them that it's a developer points reservation, and they can look it up for you.

I made a ressie using my DP and was told that they handwrite the ressie and then hand it over to a special group that only handles DP ressies. I needed to update my flight info and was told that I would have to wait for the confirmation to come back which could take up to a week before making any changes. But once it come back I would be able to get the confirmation number. That was last Thursday. I'm hoping if I call today that the ressie will show up.

Last year we booked a Concierge Collection reservation using DP's and it took about 3 weeks to receive a writen confirmation and it did show up as a reservation in our account on the Member Site. The DP's just never showed up in my Points by UY Summary section, only under Vacation Details.
