Newbie question about booking

Just a quick question as I am a newbie. We need to go to Florida in September and want to stay a couple of days at the Poly. (Long story) Do I contact member services to do this? Since they are closed until Monday, can I send an emial just to be sure that my request gets there ASAP?

Do you want to stay on points @ the poly? If so, yes member services can help you!! I'm not sure about emailing them for non DVC ressies though. Maybe someone else can help you out. Good luck!

If you e-mail, no one will look at it until Monday so I don't think it makes a difference. I prefer to call, that way if there is no availability, you know right away.

I'd just call Monday morning. Sept. isn't really a busy time for the regular WDW resorts or DVC so you probably won't have any trouble booking the Poly. So try not to worry

There is a fee to book non dvc, right? i can't seem to find it in my books...but my son has been up sick for 2 nights so I may not be looking hard enough...

No, no fee to book Non-DVC WDW resorts - they charge $75 I think to trade out to Non-DVC Non-Disney though thru the trading companies like Interval International.
