Newbie Needs Resort Advice! Please!

Okay-
We have ressies at the POP for the first week in December. As first timers, we know little to nothing it feels like. As many are discussing, we too have heard about POP Warner.

I know kids want to have fun and I don't mind that, but it would be nice to sleep and relax some on vacation after all.

We are considering switching to CSR--What do you think? Should we?

Well honestly Pop Warner will mostly be at the All-Stars and some spill over into the moderates. Can't remember which one however. Not sure either if they have ever been at POP.

As for sleeping, we were right in the thick of them last year at ASSports and it wasn't chaotic. Of course I did ask to be put as far away from them as possible It was basically the food court and the pool that were madhouses. They were kids being kids but my biggest issue was the lack of adult supervision because they were more concerned with "getting their drink on" than anything else. At least the one night we witnessed it.

However Pop Warner aside, go into a value thinking it will be a value resort. You will have only one bus stop in front of the resort and it isn't a covered area. You will be dropped off pretty far back at the parks. They seem to go in pecking order, deluxes are closer, then moderates then values (for the most part). There aren't as many amenities as at a moderate, like no bike rentals, no sit-down restaurants, etc.

So if those things are much of a thing for you then value might be in your best interest.

BUT if you can afford a moderate, I (personally) would swing for it. Coronado is awesome, love the pool and the slide. Food court is good too.

We have tried only one value resort, All Stars Sports. I would definitely recommend an upgrade to CSR.

Just got off the phone a short while ago...we upgrade to CSR! I am so excited! Our trip can't get here soon enough!
