My family (DH,DD14,DS8,DD7 & me) will be taking our first Disney trip June 05-June 11 and I need help. Please review my plans and make suggestions.I think I need all the help I can get.We are staying off site .I have 4 day park hopper plus passes and a car.

Sat. June 5- we arrive late AM and will go to the 7:15 Hoop-Dee-Doo

Sun.June 6-MGM, Fanstasmic PS at 4:30 at Hollywood and Vine
I was planning on being here from open til close or what if we arrive around 11am and stay til close? Is it a bad idea to arrive after park opening?I'm thinking the kids will be tired from day before.Would I have time for a break early afternoon and then return for PS and the rest of night? Would we still be able to see
it all?

Mon.June7-Typhoon Lagoon at opening
Tue.June 8-AK during day and then MK for spectromagic and wishes
Wed.June9-MK visiting Fantasyland,Tomorrowland and Toontown, PS at Crystal Palace at 1:45
Thu.June 9-MK-PS at Cindy's at 8:15, visit Frontierland,Adventureland, Liberty Square/Will this day be awful cuz of EE? We could take a break and come back
Friday--off to Clearwater

Kids chose TL over Epcot and I really think 2 days at MK is a must
Thanks,Cindy

Hi Cindyfitz, welcome to the Dis:wave: I don't think you need a whole day at TL. I would fit it in somewhere else and try to catch Epcot. Maybe TL the first day between arrival and HDDR? :earsboy:

it all?I'd definitely be there BEFORE park opening! It's well worth the cooler temps and smaller crowds - and that would give you time to go take a break at lunch and come back for your PS and the rest of the evening. The HDDR isn't an all-nighter and afer being so CLOSE to WDW without going in the day before they'll probably be chomping at the bit to get in a park!

Mon.June7-Typhoon Lagoon at openingAgree that this doesn't have to take all day - but since you only have 4 day hoppers I'm assuming you don't want to burn one on a partial day. You might want to plan on Mini golf that evening. Or if you stick to not going to Epcot - go over to the Boardwalk area for dinner and try to see the fireworks at least!
Tue.June 8-AK during day and then MK for spectromagic and wishesI'd try and get AK done by lunch if possible. It gets VERY hot in the afternoon and there's very little AC. Once again if you're there at park opening it can be done - unless your kids have to do all the character stuff. I just find Camp Mickey Minnie an overwhelming crowded mess and avoid it like the plague! There's plenty of time to see them in Toontown. I'd get AK done ASAP and then either go to hotel - if it's close enough - or have lunch at Poly or CR and then on to the MK

We could take a break and come backBy getting to MK the day before you may be able to spare some time for Epcot. I'd also not worry too much about keeping the lands separated by day the way you have it now - be flexible and willing to do some walking. I've found that I can almost ALWAYS pass up something with a long line and come back later and get on quickly. Also if you use Fast Pass - and YOU SHOULD! - you may have to come back to something much later in the day. I'd only stay in the MK until it got crowded that morning and then I'd hop over to Epcot personally. It's unfortunate that your Cindy's ressies are smack dab in the middle of EE - but I know that can't be changed!!

Have fun!

Thanks for the ideas Disney Debbie. You really helped me. I had thought about hopping to Epcot one afternoon just for Test Track but then I see that that part of Epcot closes at 7pm. I guess we will have to wait and see. Thanks so much.
