I hope this is not a redundant question, but I really need some help here.

This is our first time going to WDW and while I have looked at the Q & A free dining plan forums, I am still confused as to what the bounceback is.:confused3
Although I know it would not apply to me.

Sooo, could someone please tell me if this free dining would apply to a first timer? Also, if your trip is already paid for and they offer Free dining during the weeks of our stay, do you get money back ??

So sorry to be unfamiliar with all this, but this is a whole new world for me.

Appreciative of any tips. Thank you!!

The bounceback was an offer for people staying at the resorts in Sept 2007 to book for Sept 2008 and if they booked before leaving Disney then their offer included free dining for their stay in Sept 2008.

If free dining is offerred it is offerred to everyone. Normally Disney Visa card holders will be able to sign up before everyone else. I believe if your trip is paid for they will give you a credit to your room that you can use during your stay at Disney. I'm not positive about that, but I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere.

Last year I booked my ressie for Sept. about a week before the free DDP announcment was expected. When it was announced, I called back to add it on. Basically, they cancel your first ressie, and rebook with the free DDP (which requires purchase of a min. of a one day base tix per guest-making it a package.) This was how it was done last year.
