Newbie Needing Resort Help!!!!

This is interesting, as I would think a BWV room would be more expensive than a room at the CR, especially during F&W.

BWV is actually a couple hundred cheaper than CR but we are renting points so that makes it a lot cheaper. And with points we could only book BLT on the monorail and it was more expensive. Although I am really kicking myself for not spending the extra money because it looks amazing!

Definitely the Boardwalk. You will be able to walk to the food and wine festival, and the kids will love the deluxe resort. We spent a week at port Orleans, and the kids loved it, but we had a car. Last year we stayed at the Poly and were hooked on the deluxe. The extra space, private balconies, and pools are great.

There was a storm in our home state last year, so we had to spend one extra night in Disney. They offered us a deal at Caribbean beach. We had already returned the rental car, and busing was a nightmare! The resort is huge, and although we were only there a day, we could not figure out how their bus stops worked. They didn't seem to always stop in the same place. It was very confusing. We would never stay there without a car.

Have a great trip!

Don't kick yourself over BLT, their Studio rooms are TINY. You'd have been super cramped. BWV is beautiful and being right next to Epcot is great. The boat trip to DHS may take as long as a bus but BELIEVE ME you'll be a lot more comfortable on the boat!
