I'm a DVC member, and have been renting out points, so I can pay cash for a cruise.

I'd like to go on a Disney cruise 7 day, last week of March 2006, for spring break. Is it too far ahead to book, and is it cheaper / better if you book early?

I'd like I think a cat 7 (balcony view) for 3 of us (Me, DH, and DD-7).

I tried using DU before, but never could get them on the phone (only internet emails back and forth), so got frustrated.

Should I try them again, or someone else?

Also, we want warm weather, so is the easter or western carribean better for beach?

Opinions please, Goldi

its never too early to book from what I understand so I would start now we booked next feb 2006 pres week while we were on the boat. thats a year in advance ....

The earlier you can book the better. Our May '06 cruise has already jumped up over $1000. We've used Dreams for a number of our cruises. Yes the correspondence is via e-mail but they have always been super efficient with me. In fact I just got an e-mail from them on our Disneyland trip and they had saved us $279 - great service!

We are booked with Du for late April 2006. We saved over $700 on 3 cabins!! The email thing with DU really isn't a problem. I just used them for our trip to Disney and Sue Ellen was really helpful! You can request her when you put in for a quote. In some ways email is even nicer because you can ask questions anytime day or night and on weekends. Sue Ellen even emailed me on Sundays with help!!
