First of all, WELCOME the Dis is the best sight around and everyone will bend over backwards to answer any questions you have.
Christmas at WDW is wonderful! we were there in December 2003 and had a lot of fun. The weather was very nice, not too warm but shorts weather for sure and an occasional rain shower so invest in those 98 cent slickers if you want too but you dry pretty fast with the humidity anyway. Definately check out Deb's sight, she has a lot of good info too.

I am fairly new to DIS and I am trying to decide whether the Mickey Xmas Party at MK is worth it or not. Firstly I should say it will just be my husband and I, we have no children. I read lots about it but still not sure exactly what it entails and if it is worth the extra $40/person it costs to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Crazy "about" Christmas: The very merry christmas party is really a lot of fun! The magic kingdom is all dressed up in it's Christmassy best with wonderful music playing. At night when you go to the party there are live bands to listen to,the lines for the rides are low, there are parades and even "snow" after the parade! don't kid youself there will be LOTS of kids there but I'm sure you can enjoy it just as much by yourselves. Go and have lots of fun!

we went this past Christmas season and made it a golf trip. We really enjoyed this time of year, possibly more than spring! Epcot is especially wonderful! And welcome!

Christmas in Disney is my favorite time!! I love walking down mainstreet with snow blowing down, the castle with snowflakes projected on it, the decorations all around, hot chocolate and cookies (plenty of it) while watching WISHES! and the VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS PARADE!

Can you tell I enjoyed it??? Seriously, we really enjoyed the party. We went in early December and it really wasn't that crowded. Had a great time and look forward to going again (although we're doing MNSSHP for the first time!!).

The holidays are extra magical with Disney! We've only been to DL for the holidays, we're looking forward to our first WDW Christmas season this year! I love the DIS!! I'm finding all kinds of great info..planning this vacation is becoming fun..not as tedious as I was afraid it would be.
We are so excited! It's all we talk about around here. I already have green Mickeys, and we aren't leaving till December!
