Will be traveling to DW this weekend (4/6). My first time there, wife has been before. Any clue how busy it might be this weekend? (Easter weekend). I am imagine pretty good crowds. We will be staying until Wednesday.

2nd Question: I hope to take plenty of pictures and was wondering if any camera hounds have any general suggestions about locations or what I should look for.
Thanks.

Welcome to the DIS!

Sorry to report that it will be about as busy as any week of the year. Only Christmas week and July 4th week are historically busier than Easter.

I hope someone can help you with your picture question.

This will be our third easter stay at WDW and the parks are MOBBED:scared1: ! Just try to make the best of it.

As far as photos, I've found that some of the landscape photos in the resorts are our best photos. We're staying at CSR and our last trip yielded some awesome pictures of the lake, wildlife, flora, sunrise and sunset views. One thing we found, if you take photos of people, friends & family & characters, try getting closer. We have a bunch of photos taken from what we think is a good distance to "get the whole scene in", but when we view or print them, the subject looks too far away:confused: !

Enjoy... see you there!

Easter @ CSR  16.5 hours and counting!!:cool1:

I can't tell you anything about the crowds. However, in response to your picture question there are signs that say Kodak Picture Moment throughout the park that make really good photos. Also, check out the photography board. They have some really great photos on there. There are also some really go tips on allearsnet.com. I have compiled a list of photo tips from several sites if you are interested send me an email and I will send them to you. My email is sthnbell19@aol.com

Thanks, I did find the Photo section after I looked through the site some. So much here to look at. Thanks everyone for your help!

Don't be in any hurry, you will have waits. Enjoy your trip!

Sarge,
Welcome to the Dis Boards! It will be crowded when you go. Make sure you tour the parks EARLY and take a long break back at the pool in the afternoon.
