I just got my docs- hooray- :cool1: a few questions:

1. Do I have to fill out all the forms in every booklet now?

2. When I travel I need to bring to the terminal
a) Birth certificates for everyone
b) drivers licence for adults
c) documents for each traveller
Anything else I need at the terminal.

3. I am really worried about packing- can men/boys wear shorts to dinner? Does anybody have a link to a good thread about packing- what to pack- what not to pack... for the Wonder?

Thanks In ADvance-
Mary :earboy2: pirate: :boat:

That's correct. If you could fill out your docs beforehand, that would also be a timesavings. Shorts aren't really allowed in the dining room at all, especially for adults. I bought pants for both my DH and DS, and I didn't see anyone with shorts on, even little kids.

It is requested that you wear long pants (or dresses/skirts), not jeans, to the dining rooms. For our four day cruise, one pair of khaki pants would've worked fine - unless we were prone to spilling. I'd put black pants on a young kid - shows less food.....

There are lots of cruise packing lists. Here is one: http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/entropym/pages/packing_list.htm Do a seach on this board or search google. However, its really a personal thing. I can travel with little makeup, no curling iron, and a sample size hair gel and go for formal night. Other people require their hot rollers. Are you going to want an outfit for each day, plus an outfit to dine in for each evening, plus two swimsuits (putting on a wet swimsuit is gross) and matching coverups. Plus maybe an outfit for dancing? Or will you wear the same large t-shirt over the same suim suit and flip flops each day and change into the same black slacks with a different silky blouse or t for dinner each evening, with a pair of shorts and a tshirt to wear for excursions? There are people who bring eight pairs of shoes for seven days, and people who manage with a single pair of general purpose sandals.

You don't have to fill out all your documents now, but if you do, you'll be able to stroll into the terminal, have the documents checked, stroll over to the check in counter and get checked in. If not, you'll need to fill them out there. Make sure you have all the information you need, and if you want to fill them out on the plane, you could.

Why do you think I only take black slacks for myself?

We just got back from our trip on the Wonder. I brought navy pants for DS who is 5, but I would have brought black if he had any. I had hoped to just have him wear the same pants each night, but we did end up having to wash his pants (and mine!).

Mary,

I'd fill out all the docs ahead of time....

You'll only need to fill out charging privilege form once.....

and you only need to fill out the child authorization form if you are travelling without your spouse or with someone else's kids....

I already ripped my forms out to save time. (they'll make you do this once you get to the port anyway.)

But if this is your first time...leave them in the book...

You probably didn't get the Bahamas immigration forms (many others didn't either.) I think they will be making us fill them out at the port.

:cool1: Our counters are getting so low.....

You will also need your credit card when signing in to activate your KTTW cards.
