newbie here! 2/14/2008 wedding!!!

Hi everyone!
My name is Emilie, I have been watching the boards for a bit but didn't feel right posting until today, after i met with Stacey one of the wedding coordinators.
We decided on an illuminations dinner party rehersal dinner.
Yacht club gazebo noon wedding.
With the reception brunch at living seas.

And i couldn't believe that Valentines day was still available! I wanted a thursday anyways because of the price differance, so we are both thrilled to have gotten such an awesome date!

But i have a question for everyone... Both of our parents are divorced, has anyone else had the same situation and thought of some unique ways to honor all of the parents?

Sorry, can't help with the parents' thing either as it caused such an upset at my wedding that their partners didn't come and my dad only stayed a short time after walking me up the aisle. Good luck and hope someone will be able to offer you good advice.

Sorry I can't help with the parents side of things either. My mom is coming on her own. My parents were divorced but my father passed away. I don't know what I would have done if I had your situation. I'm sure there are loads of people though that can give you some great ideas.

sorry I don't have any advice on the parents thing.. but i just wanted to say that I'm the wedding before you!! We're the 10 a.m. wedding at the Yacht Club Gazebo on Valentines Day!! I was sooo surprised it was still available also!! CONGRATS though
