Ok, we are pretty new members and I'd like to hear from the more experienced members please? I have a couple questions...
Here's our story...
We are planning our first trip for this coming May. We are hoping to surprise my parents at Christmas with this trip as a present from us (both of them are in their 70s) We are hoping to get into our home resort, AK Villas. I have requested a one bedroom villa.
I don't think my parents would need the same ticket package as we are going to be getting as I am thinking they will stay close to the resort more often, my dad especially as he has a prosthetic leg and really just enjoys watching people and reading most of the time. He doesn't like to feel like he's holding us back from anything which is why I requested a savannah view by the way.
What would the best ticket option for us be? OR do we all have to have the same ticket/dining option? I know that is how it works at the regular Disney resorts but I'm hoping we can get away from that with DVC.
Also as a general ticket question, we probably won't be using our tickets for more than one trip a year. We wouldn't really need to purchase annual tickets for this would we? We usually buy 5/6 day park hoppers with disney dining tickets.
Can we wait and add our park ticket/dining package when we check in? Or should we look for the deals and book them before hand?
Thanks for any advice in advance, Renee
