Hello all! I just started looking through all of the beautiful designs and am inspired to try my hand at making t-shirts for my families first trip. It is not for awhile so I have plenty of time to iron out my mistakes! My question is this: On average, how many shirts would you say you get out of an average ink cartridge. I know there are so many variables, but I was wondering if it's closer to 2 per cartridge or more like 5 (or more)? Thanks!! :thumbsup2

I have made tons of t-shirts and have really only changed my cartridges twice since last September. Maybe I've had to replace the black one three times. I know we made 14 shirts for our trip in September and we have made at least 10 or 15 more since then. I'm pretty sure you can get quite a few transfers printed out of each cartridge. My printer has 6 different cartridges, so they all run out at different times. This has started to be a unique gift to give people, so we print out lots of transfers. Hope this helps. :cutie:

Thanks for the input. Anyone else?
I would also like to know if you take extra precautions to make sure the transfer is centered correctly (like measuring) or do you eyeball it? Thanks

Another thought I just had...can you use laundry stain remover (Shout, SprayNWash, etc.) on the shirt, specifically the design. Kids will be kids and food and drinks will inevitably get on their clothes. :)

Iron on transfers can be cleaned with spray and wash with not damage.
