Newbie Ground Transportation questions

Hi guys...just booked our flight to MCO for July. This will be our first WDW vacation and we can hardly wait!

There will be 3 adults and 1 child and I am having a difficult time deciding what type of ground transportation to take. I have read through many of the post here but don't know how to contact the town car or limo services. Is there a site or link that lists all the transportation options? Also, could someone give me a ballpark figure of the cost from MCO to WDW (Beach Club) using MEARS, Town Car and Limo service?

Also, is it best to book the ground transportation myself or call and have Disney do it for me?

I think for the number of people you have in your party the limo may be the best deal. Check out the rates.

When you are at the Beach Club make sure you go to Stromalong Bay, their pool. If you happen to see a male lifeguard and his nametag says his name is John and he is from East Carolina University tell him his dad says hi! You will freak him out!!!

Taxis would be more than a town car and they are dirty and unpredictable because you pay the meter rate. If you get caught in traffic it could cost you.

There are so many Companies in Orlando. Some are good and some aren't!!! Some offer from 15min to 30min grocery stops. And some charge you for gate fees, charge you for car seats,and charge you for any thing. Some meet you inside the airport to help you with your luggage, And some don't! Some also take Credit Cards.You can do a search on this board on transportation companies. You can also go to the Better Business Bureau website.....Rabbit

From what I've researched, Mears stops at different hotels along the way. Sound like a luxury towncar or limo (if budget allows) would be a better option. We'll be taking our first trip as well and for now have decided on a limo through Tiffany Towncar to or resort and a luxury van on the way back at the end of our vacation
