Hi All,
My name is Randy and I am a newbie to this forum. I stumbled across it this past weekend while I was doing some very early researching for my Walt Disney World/ Orlando trip with my fiancee in November of 2009.
Anyways, I am 36 years old and my fiance is 51. I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and I have many memories of Disneyland as a kid back in the late 70's and early 80's. I used to go to Disneyland when you needed ticket(s) for the rides themselves, So I am talking a long time ago.
Both my fiancee and I are fans of amusement parks and she hasnt been to Orlando in about 20 years while this will be my first trip to Orlando. Both of us are looking foward to it. I know I am as I am looking foward to living out one of my dreams at Discovery Cove by swimming with a dolphin which I have always wanted to do.
We are both mild fans of roller coasters. My favorite roller coaster is a toss up between " Viper "at Six Flags Magic Mountain and "Big Thunder Mountain" at Disneyland while her favorite roller coaster is out at Cedar Point called " Millenium Force ". It has been a few years since we both rode a coaster. My last coaster was at Six Flags of New England called "Superman" and boy it was a nasty one.
We have already discussed that when we have our trip to Orlando. We will be only doing one big coaster a day and when Im talking about big coasters. Im talking about the new ones. Not a coaster like the Matterhorn, Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain. Those are pretty easy compared to the new ones of today.
Anyways, I just wanted to say a quick hello to the forum and thanks for letting me become a member of this forum.
Sincerely,
Eaglefan
