I have been lurking for a while now and thought I would post a little about me. I am planning my first trip to Disney in Sept 2008. It will be me, mom, dd15 and dd7. None of us have ever been. Dh went about 20 years ago and has no desire to go back. Oh well his loss. I love to plan my trips and want to know every fun detail I can about where I am going. I have learned so much from this board.
We will be staying at Pop and I am hoping for the 50's lakeside. Is that preferred? I don't want to pay extra for preferred but would like the 50s or 60 buildings.
Dd will be 7 when we go. I know there will be extreme amounts of walking and would like to walk at my pace and not hers so where I can I find a good stroller to purchase for a child her size? I would like to bring one from home so I can have it all the time instead of just in the parks.
Thanks for all the valuable information each of you provide to us newbies each day.

This is a great place to find information about planning your trip. Have fun planning!
and you wil find that you fit in sooner than you think. Plan, plan, and plan some more, is all I have to say. I don't think you can over plan for a disney trip, especially your first one. Your DH doens't know what he is missing. My DH is the first person that I went with, well my mom and then 7 year old cousin went with us and that was in 2005. I am working on my 6th trip since June 2005 and I plan fanitically each time.

(sorry, I couldn't resist)
