Hello Everyone,

I just found this board and I hope someone can help me out. I go to Disneyland quite a bit, but I usually avoid May-Sept. because of the summer crowds. Next year, though, some friends and I want to make a trip to the park. One has never been before and the other has never seen Fantasmic. We were thinking of going end of April, but I realized Fantasmic may not be playing at that time. Does anyone know when Fantasmic usually starts up that part of the year?

Thanks,
Christina:flower3:

No one seems to really know when Fantasmic is going to be back up this year- I know it's going down for a few months after the holidays and from what I have gleaned so far I think it'll be down when I am there the end of March. Maybe they'll have it back up for the weeks around Easter, who knows. Wish they'd put the calendar back up for March.

Could Fantasmic be down for a refurb from March 9 to June 11, 2009? :sad1: :scratchin

That's what the unofficial DL Project Tracker at MiceChat says: (link)

FRONTIERLAND & CRITTER COUNTRY

Fantasmic! upgrades

Phase 2
Project Status: To begin mid-March 2009.
Open Date: June 12, 2009

A Fantasmic CM, "mrfantasmic," says the Fantasmic refurb will start on March 9, 2009. (thread / link)

The above information is just a rumor until it appears in the official DL Calendar. (link)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the info.

Oh, I really hope it is not down when we go. My friend Ginger loves dragons, and she really wants to see this in person.

Oh well, if it isn't I guess it just means another trip for us in the future!;)

Christina
