Newbie: Disney hotel vs other? Suites hotel?

The great thing about Disney is that there is something for everyone. I don't like out door corridors others don't like the deluxes. I didn't like staying off grounds but others love it. It really is a personal choice. Good luck with your stay at SSR. Penny

Update: We are staying at a 2 bedroom villa at SSR. I'm getting excited about it.

Have you considered renting points in order to stay at SSR? It can be much cheaper. There is another message board for the Disney Vacation Club. Maybe you should look over there and take some time to learn about it.

We haven't done this yet but I think we will someday.
