my family have never been to universal or ioa :confused3 but we plan to visit next september, due to time restrictions we will only have 1 or 2 days in each park and would love to have a meal at a restaurant while we are there.
so how does the dining system work...do i need adr's and if so when can i book and where would you reccomend to eat? i have a ds(6) and a dd(9) i would love something for ds really as he has to suffer all dds princess meals at wdw :rotfl:

thanks :)

Our favorite place is Finnegan's Irish Pub in Universal Studios. We've never needed reservations (I'm not even sure if they take them)...there are always tables available. The food is great :) Our favorites are the fish sandwich, corned beef sandwich, and the wonderfully greasey onion and potato web.

You say you want something for your son. If he is into basketball, NBA City in City Walk would be perfect.
We LOVE Mythos in Islands of Adventure.

The first thing that came to my mind was the character breakfast with Spiderman :thumbsup2 I think The Cat In The Hat is there too along with maybe some other characters. Bubba Gump's could be fun too, it has a Forrest Gump theme :teeth:

Don’t Miss the Character Breakfast at Islands Of Adventure!

Breakfast is not just the most important meal of the day…now it’s the most fun!

Bring the whole family and enjoy breakfast with Spider-Man™ and The Cat in the Hat™ at Islands of Adventure’s Confisco Grille®, each Thursday through Sunday morning from park opening to 10:30 a.m.

The breakfast is $15.95 for Adults and $9.95 for children, plus tax and gratuity. Call 407-224-4012 for reservations.

:cheer2:

thanks :thumbsup2 have put that on my must do list....ds has sat through enough princess meals he deserves a meal just for him

I seem to be in the minority, but I think Mels is a great place to eat. Hard Rock Cafe in Citywalk is another one I'd put up there on my list, you can get a tour of the Hard Rock Cafe too.
