My name is Venus and our family will be taking their first trip to Disney in June 2010. I joined a while back just to learn some basic info, but now I'll be reading regularly. I look forward to learning lots, and planning more trips.

We're from Virginia and driving to Cypress Point Resort to stay June 20-27. I booked CRT for my princess loving 4 year old daughter, and now trying to decide whether to do a dining plan or not, and whether to add a day to our 4 day military passes, and many more options. There sure is a lot to learn!

Hey! I am fairly new to posting on the boards, but have been to Disney many times. We have stayed at Cypress pointe. You can not add the dining plan to tickets if you are not staying in a Disney resort. (unless the military tickets are different) We used the military 5 day tickets last year and had a blast. If we use it this year I am going to add the water parks. If you plan correctly 4 days is enough in the parks. I don't like to over do it. We plan a day off mid week. Disney can be very tiring. Hope you have a good trip. The planning is half the fun. I love to plan my trips.

Welcome! I am new to the DIS boards as well, but not new to Disney! We will be at the World June 17-25! :yay:

We are planning a June Disney Vacation as well...can't wait to go..There will be three families total.

I just made our reservations yesterday to go to WDW in June. We will be there from the 8th thru the 16th. I was going to stay at one of the moderate resorts, but we have always will wanted to stay at the Polynesian. My husband and I spent our honeymoon at CS, but this time we are taking our little ones and decided to give them the full Disney experience. So with the discount we are stepping it up a bit. We are also using the Dining Plan. My SIL used it when she went and said it was totally worth it. This was we can budget better and won't have to worry if my DD wants to order steak.I have already made most of our reservations for dining. We are so excited and can't wait for June to get here.:cloud9:
