Hi all! This is our first family trip. We have two girls, ages 9&12. We're staying at the All Sports Resort in October. We'll be going to one park per day. I would appreciate any pointers about anything: rides, food - anything to help us optimize our visit. Thank you!

My first order of business when going to WDW is plan out a schedule. Figure out what parks on what days and if you are doing split parks- MK in the am, Epcot for pm to see the fireworks etc and then plan your dining and get your reservations. After a day of touring and I don't care how fit you are the Florida sun and the excitement is alot and you will appreciate having a set time for your meals.

Once I have dining done then I do the fast passes. I would read trip reports to get some ideas on experiences that others have.

Do your girls want to see the characters, do they want thrill rides.... this forum is awesome for idea but most of all have fun and make those Disney memories.

Be sure to book your FP+ at 60 days out at 7:00am Eastern time. The most difficult FP+ to get is Flight of Passage. Book that one first (preferably for later in your trip) and then book the others in order of most difficult to get down to least difficult to get. Do not book FP+ in chronological order or you might miss out on hard to get FP+.
