Newbie - can't avoid Magic Morning

Greetings DL'ers! I have a quick question, I hope it hasn't been asked a million times, I did search but couldn't quite find what I'm looking for.

I'm a WDW vet visiting DL for the first time this Feb as part of a trip to visit my best friend who lives in So Cal. I'm planning on buying s 2-day pass so I won't be eligible for MM, but I'd really like to go to the parks on my birthday, which happens to fall on a Tuesday, so likely a MM day. Is this a terrible idea? Will it be super crowded? I was just at WDW a few weeks ago, so my main objective for the DL trip is to check out the rides that are different. In other words, if I don't get on Peter Pan, I won't be crushed. Thanks!

Not a bad idea at all. MM and EMH are two different beasts. I have never found a MM crowd to be overbearing at DL when arriving after them. I think Tuesdays in February are not going to be all that crowded, you should be fine. We just returned from our first trip to WDW and EMH can be insanely crowded (of course this was Christmas week too). Have a blast!

You'll be fine. MM/EMH are not nearly as big a deal at DL as they are at WDW. Then again, I don't avoid the EMH parks at WDW either.

You'll be fine! I was in the parks the week before Thanksgiving when they were holding MM every morning and it really wasn't so bad. Peter Pan usually had a long wait already, but other rides in Fantasyland were still wide open. Only Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are open in DLR for MM. There was a short wait on Hyperspace Mountain during MM but as soon as the floodgates opened for the general masses the line grew significantly longer. However, keep in mind that there are no FPs available during MM, so if you get over to Hyperspace Mountain first thing and discover the line is already too long, just grab a FP for an early morning time.
