Okay, so obviously this is my first post. I've been reading these boards for months and getting all the information I can.

I'm so excited, I finally booked our trip last night and made the deposit. We are planning on being there from March 9-18 and staying at the Carribean Beach Resort. I'm so excited. :yay:

Traveling with me will be my sister, my nephew (5 at the time we go) and my godson (8 at the time we go).

My sister and I have been to Disney World once. Back in 1986. I'm positive that a lot has changed since then :)

I'm still working out the ADRs... I think I'm good until September before I have to start calling in those. Below is a sample itinerary for our trip. We are going to try to squeeze in a few other things on this trip.

03/19 - Downtown Disney (we arrive in the early evening)
03/10 - Hollywood Studios
03/11 - Seaworld
03/12 - Magic Kingdom
03/13 - Beach (have to take my nephew - he's never been)/shopping at outlet malls
03/14 - Animal Kingdom
03/15 - Epcot
03/17 - open day (letting the boys choose what they want to redo - we have the park hopper)
03/18 - return home

This schedule is subject to change though. I'm waiting for the park to release hourse so I can check crowd levels and EMH.

Any advice from all the veterans would be greatly appreciated. I'm especially interested in knowing the fastest way to TSM at rope drop so that I can get us Fastpasses

Hi Gloria!!! It is me Christie!!! Fancy meeting you on these boards. :cool1:

I got mine all booked today too! I wish we were going at the same time. It would be awesome to meet up at the happiest place on earth!

Hey Christie :wave2:

How exciting to see you here as well. I agree, it's too bad we aren't going at the same time. So what week in February are you going?

wdwnut61... thank you.

mymickeyfans... thank you too.

Gloria, we are arriving Fri, Feb 3rd and leaving Sat, Feb 11th. And I made all my ADRs online last night. It was super easy!

I'm still working on our schedule so I can figure out ADRs... I don't think I can start booking those until September (180 days) so I have a few weeks to figure them out What ADRs did you get? I'm defintely planning a couple character meals. I'm thinking Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace (Julian still likes Winnie the Pooh and Tigger). Other than that, I'm still deciding.

I'm going to become Disney oppsessed before I even get there  I'm over here all the time reading trip reports and tips, etc.

This is what I have booked right now. Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind a hundred times before I am actually on the plane. :rotfl:

Arriving Fri, Feb 3rd late
Sat, 2/4 Cape May Breakfast (character and in our resort! Bonus!)
Sun 2/5 Liberty Tree Tavern dinner (another character)
Mon 2/6 Planning on going to Beaches & Cream for lunch but made a reservation for Sci Fi Dine-In at HS just in case since B&C doesn't take reservations.
Tues 2/7 Teppan Edo dinner
Wed 2/8 Tusker House Breakfast (character)
Thurs 2/9 Tony's Town Square for dinner
Fri 2/10 Chefs de France for dinner
Sat 2/11 1900 Park Fare (character) for breakfast before we leave

All of these will be new to us except for Liberty Tree Tavern (we went here on our 2nd visit and really liked it), Sci Fi Dine-In (the boys liked this from last time, so we put it down as a back up), and Tusker House (my oldest's fav),

I'm rethinking the last day. We leave that day and I'm not sure I want to spend half of our time getting to and from that reservation since it is at the Grand Floridian. So I will probably change that one.

And I know what you mean about becoming obsessed with Disney. I am reading this board every day! Some days I think my brain is going to explode with all of this Disney info.
