Newbie ? about moderates

Hi, new to the boards and planning my family's first trip to Disney World for early October 2005 and so very excited!!! Anyway, trying to decide where to stay and we're leaning towards a moderate. Do any of them have refrigerators included in the rooms?
This site is so helpful; I've been reading various threads for a few days now and this is really the first time I've had a question that I didn't already see the answer to!! It's so nice of everyone to share their info.

Welcome to the DIS. We love PO-FQ and have stayed there 3 times with a fourth time coming up in May. They have just re-done the rooms and they all have a refrigerator. You will find out a lot of great information on these boards, along with a lot of differing opionions. Good Luck.

Hello - Welcome to the DIS boards.

All of the moderates are in the process of placing refigerators in the rooms. If one isn't there on arrival you can request one and I believe they will do so.

I just love the moderate resorts. They have so much to offer.

Find the one with the theme that appeals to you. They are all very nice. I do have my preferences but everyone enjoys different things.

Yes, all of the moderates have refrigerators in the rooms. If you stay at one of the recently refurbished rooms at the PO-R or PO-FQ, you will also have a 25 inch TV as opposed to the 19 inch TV found in the other moderates. If this is important to you and you are staying at the PO-R, ask at check in to be placed in a newly refurbished room. You may also request when making your reservation. If you do get to your room and there is no refrigerator, call and they will bring one to your room at no extra charge.. however, by the time you are planning to go, this shouldn't be an issue.

We have stayed at 3 of the 4 moderates, and liked them all. CBR has rooms that are a bit bigger, but the layout of the resort is extremely spread out, and the check in and the food court are in entirely different areas across the resort from each other. PO-R is very nice and has 2 different themes within one resort, so depending on if you are into rustic or the finery of the Old South, you would like this resort. Our favorite is PO-FQ, as it is pretty compact, only has one bus stop that is 1st on, 1st off if it is sharing with PO-R at the time, and a great food court with beignets for breakfast. Whatever you decide, I think you will love the moderates.

All of the mod rooms now have fridges in them.

I think you would like just about all of the mods. I think CSR, POR and POFQ are great. I am not a fan of CBR, but there any mnay here that do.
