I've been lurking a lot...posting a little...and getting some great info for the trip in October.

I'm 33 years old, and I've been to Disney twice...the last time was in 82-83 timeframe.

My question is...when I return from Disney...will I become a green blooded DISer? That is to say...Will I be planning my next Disney trip immediately, and no other future vacations will ever match up to a Disney vacation?

58 days to go...cant wait.

You're a DISer now - you'll just be able to answers questions when you get back!
You're in the same boat I was. Hadn't been to WDW in over 20 years - boy, is it different!
And it all depends on the person, but I want to plan my next trip (financial constraints hold me back), and I don't think any other trip will measure up. It is a totally magical trip :goodvibes , and we had the time of our lives! And when we can, we will be back!
Plan to death, so everything goes well (and go with the flow if you get thrown off track), and have a great time  !

First of all welcome to the DIS!!!!! :welcome: And I must say that :disrocks:!!! Just continue to search the DIS boards and you will find all the info you need! No question will go unanswered! Good luck planning your trip and just have fun! Enjoy!

Here is what is going to happen...

You will have a great time. Since you are a Diser, you have done your research and planned.

Then, when you get home, you will realize all the things you missed. You will need to plan another trip to hit those things.

You go for your 2nd trip. You re-do your favorites, and hit "some" of the things you missed the first time.

Uh-oh, still haven't managed to see ________. Missed _______ again! Ooooh, _________ is a new attraction. They changed ________, I need to see the new version. Need to plan another trip.

wash, rinse, repeat.

Thanks guys...I appreciate the welcome.

I empathized with another poster earlier today who said that he/she couldnt get excited about the trip because it seemed they had peaked too early.

I went through a bit of that too. I will probably go through it again in 58 days. :)

I have small children...so what I'm trying to do is balance my hardcore planning with lots of flexibility.

All I can tell you is that I went to WDW in July of 2003 for my "one-time,once-in-a-lifetime" trip.I am now planning trip number eight for December. :teeth:
