New Yorkers Beware...Mickey is coming to town! June 17th, 2012 Canada Cruise

I know we set the cut off as June 1st but are we cutting it to close. If you are order or making gift that only give us 17 days. I see most groups cut off about 30 days before. What is eveyone else thought?

30 days sounds much better to us too!

Completed check in with an 11 am check in time and early dining.
Looks like we're going to do the ports on our own. Every thing we are looking at doing is with in walking distance of the dock.
We are on the fence right now about joining the the fish extenders will let every one know soon.

Hey everyone. Things are crazy busy here, but I wanted to check in and say hi.

Welcome to all of our new members!

I'll update the lists once life slows back down to normal next week!

I have been a DIS lurker for many years. I am excited to finally be joining a group.
My husband (Aaron), my 7 year old daughter (Belle), and myself (Lisa) are exited to be going on this cruise out of NYC. .

Welcome! Lisaaron and family..... :goodvibes Glad you've un-lurked!
Because I didnt reserve those specific things- I cant seem to see the times on them... sorry cant be more help.... I am doing the Peggys Cove and HOHO's

I have another FE add on family for us! My friend Tonya and her family are also part of the Autism on the Seas group...this is also their first cruise and we are so glad they are joining us! I will add them to the google doc shortly.

I am soooo ready for this cruise! :cheer2:

We are also part of the Autism on the Seas group. Our first cruise and so looking forward to mee the AotS staff and everyone.

Welcome! I hope you will be joining in on the FE's!! I am not very crafty but I have found some good, simple things to do. Working on magnets to decorate our door too. The Disigners on here are wonderful people...very impressed by what everyone can do.

What does everyone think about a limit? If we got much bigger, I might want a limit, but I'm ok with 18 rooms myself. Personally if we got over 20 rooms, I think I might want to look at dividing them. I'd also be ok with dividing us in half now?

I know in some other groups they set a limit (anything from 10 to 20) and then you can choose to be in one group, two groups, or every group.

Everyone's ideas?

I know we are getting a lot of new interest in participating in the FE group. Are we still planning on splitting if we go over 20? (We must be getting pretty close). With option of one or both groups? Just wanted to be sure what the plan is while I still have time to regroup if I need to. :upsidedow Thanks!

Carol

I am in favor of splitting into 2 groups when we go over 20 families (?cabins?), with the option of joining one or both groups. That way anyone who would find a large group overwhelming (me:rolleyes:!) can, well, not get overwhelmed!
Next week, I am full energy ahead with cruise and FE planning.
And ... we are, as of 2 days ago, ... PAID . IN . FULL ! :cool1:!

I would prefer a smaller group since I am a newbie and already feeling a bit worried...I would be fine with splitting when we hit 20, which I don't think is very far away.

the point of no return!!!!!!!!!!

i'm still at the beginning.....finally picked a real date and am getting into the planning...of course i don't have flights or any of that....but i'll probably do that at the last minute....too many things can change before then....

i'm now 2 and a half months from final payment (so that i can book at 120 days out)...

we are paid in full!!:good vibes Unfortunately, we had to lose a stateroom but we added a bf.....I will update the FE list!!:goodvibes
