I received an email today from someone at the New York Times confirming the dates of the show I am directing. The email said that they would be publishing the info in the New Jersey section of the NY Times. I have absolutely NO IDEA how they would have obtained the information! But I am totally excited!

I am directing Disney's High School Musical and my production is being advertised in the New York Times!!!! What a thrill!

Maybe this will bring a lot more people in to see it!

Any thoughts on how the NY Times would have gotten the info? Thanks!

Maybe one of the people in the play submitted it? Is it a high school production? When I was in high school I used to contact local media outlets about news.

I get home delivery of the times and will look in the Metro section (has Jersey news) for it!!

It's a middle school production. None of the kids mentioned anything to me. Maybe a parent...

Who knows. But I am excited!!!

Maybe a parent called someone? I just wanted to say "thanks" for directing. My dd is in 7th grade and she LOVES being in the plays. Thanks to people like you who are willing to channel "middle school drama" towards a productive outlet!:thumbsup2
