New York Tax Refunds?

I checked my status online the other day and it said it was in the final stages of processing. Now when I check it, it says I am unable to check the status with their online form and I need to call. Has this happened to anyone else?

There may have been a problem with your return that they just caught or you could have been randomly selected to be audited.

Or there could be something wrong with your banking information if you chose to have it DDP

Doubt I'm getting audited since I have a straightforward return and do not itemize. My banking information is correct, as it's the same as on my federal (which I already received).

Wasn't sure if it was a website glitch (happened last year with the Federal for a ton of people), but I guess no one else has filed their NYS taxes yet

I'm in NY and I filed my taxes about 2 weeks ago. I already got my Federal refund back. I just now checked the status of my state return and it says I should be receiving my refund in two weeks or 4 weeks at most.

Last year, I got my Federal refund back in 10 days (as usual) but there was some problem with the state return and it took about a month.

I'm not getting much back from the state --- I'll probably just save it or use it for a snall car repair.

I just checked mine (filed two weeks ago) and its says I should have a refund by feb 4th, so I'm thinking its you not the system. I would call them and check . Its probably something simple like your pin

FYI I called today and the automated thing said I was selected to be audited. What a joke, but I guess it's the childcare because there is nothing else on my return. Good thing I have all my cancelled checks.
