When I was 18 I worked for NY and Co. and they always had everything on sale. The prices tags are rarely the price. This way it looks like your getting a good deal. So for example shirt would say $29.99. One week it would be on sale for 9.99 and the next week buy 1 get 2 free. So I am not sure if this is a good deal or not.

The same shirts I got a few weeks ago for 12.00 are now 20.00. They were 70% off when I bought them, now they are 50%. Do they think people are stupid?

I agree I bought a sweater last week for 70 off as well,now only 50 off. I get coupons atleast once a week from them and since everything eventually goes on sale I just wait to so I can use a coupon on the items on sale. For example the coupons are almost always 25 dollars off of 75, etc. I actually had a 35 dollars off of 75 last week (so really half off) and bought 2 sweaters and 2 pairs of earrings all for 35 dollars! If I just had bought them 50 percent off the sweaters would have been 20 dollars each, which would be more than what I would have paid alone not even counting the earrings!

Well, I thank the OP. I don't shop there often (actually I don't shop much for myself often). But what I have purchased at NY&CO I have liked! So I will check it out.

The wife just got back, what's good about this sale is that many times the sweaters may be 1/2 off, but the accessories are not. We combined a 50 off 150 coupon and spent just over 100 for 5 complete outfits, 2 scarves, a hat, and a pair of gloves.
