Hi, I was just wondering if the crowds during spring break (the week after Easter) is worse than the crowds the week after Christmas? We went over Spring Break 2004 and it was really crowded, but to be perfectly honest, we were not too bothered as we have been to WDW a few times, so we navigate fairly well. I like the rides, but I love the parades, pools, etc. so I'm not too bummed if I don't get to ride something... Also, how is New Years? Any special things happening at that time? Thanks for your help and thoughts:)

My son may not be able to make the trip after Thanksgiving, so that's why I was wondering how after Christmas to New Year's is... Do they do any special fireworks or programs. Thanks for your help!:)

That is an extremely busy time of year. We were at Epcot on New Year's Eve last year. It wasn't bad in the park until late afternoon. By 7pm, you could barely move through the crowd. They passed out horns and hats to people. I can't tell you many people blew their horns directly in my ears. I won't be going over there this year.

I believe this is the busiest time of year. That being said, we have gone the week between Christmas and New Years for at least the past 5 years. We usually go about twice a year so we know it will be crowded and we only do the things we really want to do. Last year my boyfriends 15 year old son waited over an hour for Mission Space (all the fast passes had been given out for the day before 10:30 am). We normally would not wait that long for a ride but he really wanted to do this and was willing to wait. I beleive they closed Epcot sometime during the day also. The one nice thing about this time of year as opposed to spring break - it is definately not as hot - this way you only have to deal with the crowds. I am not saying it is cold but it is more comfortable than April.
