Can I ask all you experts which park is the least crowded or the easiest to get into on New Year's Eve?
Thanks!
Thanks!
We find the celebrations at Epcot to be more to our liking. We have done NYE several times there, and would do it again in a heartbeat!![]()

I have been to WDW for NYE nine times. I get to the park or my choice early in the day so I can do some things and collect some fast passes. Each and every time I have gone back to my resort for a break and returned to my original park around 6:00 pm for dinner. I have never been denied re-entrance.The general rule is once your in a park stay there since you may not be able to re-enter once you leave due to the crowds. This will be our third New Years at WDW. Four words: Drink around the World!

We will be there for our first WDW NYE. We haven't decided where we will be yet, but leaning toward Epcot or DHS.
Yup. Usually after the parade is over and all the fed-up people leave.Correct!!
FYI - MK will shut down on NYE and usually 1 0r 2 days prior around noon. But MK usually will reopen in a few hours.
OP, If you go to DHS, make sure you find a central spot in front of the BAH. We were over near the lake across from Hollywood and Vine in what I thought was a good spot until the fireworks startedWe go to DHS since they only do fireworks twice a year - July 4th and NYE. Epcot fireworks is an extension of Illuminations. MK fireworks are just crazy good.
