HI! I'm going to be in MK with my parents (54) and son (4yrs) for NYE. Are there any special daytime activities I should do? I can only find info from last year!! It's my first time back since 1996 so I'm a little overwhelmed!
Thanks!:yay:

New Year's Eve is the single highest crowd day of the entire year. It is important to know that Magic Kingdom usually hits capacity early in the day, often before noon. It is recommended that you pick the park you want to be in and stay there for the whole day and evening.

I know that Epcot and DHS have stages set up with dance music going past until 2AM. I am pretty sure MK has the same set-up.

Have a great trip!

Just be warned that MK has closed to all guests (including resort guests) by 10am each of the last 4 years that we have been to wdw. If you are going to go to MK: go early, plan on staying, plan on huge crowds(long lines!), and do no plan on park hopping because you will not be allowed back into MK if they are at max capacity, even if you have adr. Hopefully, you have made an adr at MK already. We have chosen not to do MK on NYE for the shear crowds and craziness. We have park hopped between epcot and dhs. This year we are going to DHS. The positive is the wonderful fireworks at midnight(although they do similar fireworks on 12/30 for families with young kids who won't be doing the NYE midnite MK).
