We have tried to walk through CityWalk on NYE and it was an attraction of it own! 
It is definately worth the price you pay, definately. Most of city walk is closed off to the people purchasing the party tickets. 21 and older only, no children, very nice. Good food, good music, lots of fun.
They open city walk up to everyone shortly after midnight, then it gets very crowded.
