New Year's eve-parks?

I have already read some posts and have a few ideas about the parks. I know it will be crazy crowded... I know I need to pick a park and stay there for the day.

What exactly do the different parks do?
MGM is open late, so I think that might mean 3:00 am. Will it stay crowded that late?

What kind of special countdowns will they do?

Which park closes to Disney guests first? Which would we have the best chance to take a break in afternoon and come back?

MK usually is the first to fill to capacity and it is probably the worst one to get around in when it is really crowded.
WE have done NYE in all the parks. They all have extra entertainment, they give out hats and horns to use during the evening and do countdowns with fireworks. Lines are long but we had plenty of time to waste so just waited. Do get dinner resvs as soon as you can.

We liked EC the best. We watched the cms from the countries gather and countdown to NY according to their home countries time. It was neat because we got to watch celebrations all night. They also had champagne to toast in the NY.
