There is a New Year's Eve deck party that evening, complete with fireworks, which is separate from the Pirate Night fireworks on Pirate Night. They give everyone a plastic New Year's hat, and the characters are dressed up in fancy New Year's outfits that evening, so you can get some special pictures with them.

Do they not still give out plastic champagne flutes at the deck party? Kids love to use them at every holiday with sparkling cider.

Yes, they had those, too. We also got a signed lithograph at the end of the cruise. This was the 2019/2020 New Year's cruise.

We were on the Wonder this past NYE and got stainless steel champagne flutes, love them!
