I remember way back, :rotfl: , to new year's eve 1999, as the year 2000 came in CNN and many other media sources celebrated every hour, as each time zone passed into the new year...

So, not likely they will, but, if VMK stayed open for :hourglass 24 hours as a new years party...

Would you participate? :confused3

I had a idea about that.Maybe they should put a ball in the VMK Es. and so then when its January 1 at 12:00 then the ball drops and every where in VMK there is dec. that say happy 2006 or HAPPY NEW YEARS DAY!!Or something like that.

But, then what of those in the other 23 time zones, who may be sleeping already, well into the new year, etc..... :confused3

I remember that new years! I loved that. Of course at the time I had done something horrible to my back and couldn't move from the sofa, so I was especially grateful. I do think anything special for new years is too much to hope for at this point though. :badpc:
