New Years Eve - Epcot Question

We are considering a Christmas trip, and I remember reading that in World Showcase they celebrate each New Years at the countries local time.

I cant seem to find any reports on this, am I totally imagining this, or is this what happens (in a regular non-COVID year)

Canada has 6 "local time" Midnights.
Mexico has 4 "local time" Midnights.
USA has 6 "local time" Midnights.
UK has 9 "local time" Midnights.
China has 1 "local time" Midnight.
Norway has 1 "local time" Midnight.
Germany has 1 "local time" Midnight.
France has 1 "local time" Midnight.
Morocco has 1 "local time" Midnight.

And, many of those times may not be during the time Epcot is open.

During the NYE fireworks they would count down to midnight by celebrating each country in the order the new year happened, so about 30 seconds of music and fireworks behind each country. That's probably what you're remembering.

Our first time at Epcot on New Years. There is no midnight fireworks show planned on the site schedule at the moment, but do they usually do a special midnight fireworks show? I noticed Harmonious run early that day, 6:30pm instead of the normal 9:45pm. Thanks.
