We are planning a trip to Disney this December. We will be there for New Years Eve and are a family of four. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fantastic New Years Dinner? Also I hear they close the parks early but it is my understanding that they will let you in if you are staying on property and have a priorty seating in one of the restaurants in the park. Is this true? Thanks for your assiatance:)

Some of the resorts have parties with meals if you are looking for that. We jsut spent our first NYE at WDW and ate dinner at LeCellier and then stayed in Epcot.

What time did you enter the park for your reservation? I don't want to stay in the parks all day. I have heard that they will let you in if you have a PS even if the parks are technically closed. Thanks

We were at Epcot last NYE. We left Epcot at around 3:00 pm via the International Gateway to go back to the Boardwalk Villas to change into evening attire. As we were leaving we talked to the CM's at the gate to get a feel for whether we would have any problems re-entering the park in an hour or two.

The CM's were giving us the party line about the re-entry rules. They were already at a Level 2 at Epcot, but since we were Epcot Resort guests at BWV, we would be the last group of people that they would lock out. Magic Kingdom was Level 4 and MGM Level 3 at that time.

From what the CM's were telling us, I don't think having PS will make a difference if they reach a Level 4 capacity. This is the first time we've been there on NYE. Maybe somebody else has more experience.

We re-entered the park at 4:00 pm, to be safe, via the International Gateway. We had dinner at Chefs de France and it was very nice. The rest of the evening was a wash out due to the torrential rain. C'est la vie.

We stayed at the dolphin for NYE and were in and out of epcot all day. We did not have any problems at all entering from the international walkway. We had an early dinner at LeCellier and then enjoyed Epcot. Unfortunatly it poured on NYE but we are still planning another NYE for this coming year!
