New Year's Eve activities

Other than gong to the parks or Pleasure Island on New Year's eve-what other activities are there? Do the resorts have any parties? I'd love to know what the crowds are this coming week?

Last year I spent New Year's Eve at the resort party at Saratoga Springs resort. It was held at the Congress Park pool next to the fireworks viewing pavillion. There were snacks, drinks, hats, music, horns,....and fireworks!

All I know is that the park hours are extended.

Animal Kingdom is open till 6.

All of EPCOT and MGM is open till 12 AM.

Magic Kingdom is open till 1 AM.
