Well, we're still set to go on this cruise, but I'm beginning to toy with the idea of switching out to another date to join up with some friends during their Spring Break instead....will keep ya'll posted...

Hello all! Since I was in TEARS coming back to Kuwait for my final 4 months...I think I made my DH feel bad...and he told me to start checking out cruises for our Christmas vacation... When I saw that there was a 4 day (would be our first) over New Years...I was hooked!! LOL I have a thing in to Dreams Unlimited for a quote as I couldn't get the DCL site to show prices...

Now I just need to see the prices...and convince DH!! LOL I saw a couple of you said people wore "gowns" and suits on NYE. Are we talking floor lenght "prom" gowns? My favorite!!

First of be safe! I was on the last NYE 4 night cruise. They dressed up on 31st.

if you are not set on NYE cruise..a Christmas 4 day cruise is showing the millarty discount (Dec 23). (almost 50% off) Im retired from the Air Force. I got a big discount on other cruises.

you need the booking code "MTO" when you are looking it up..or call them(or have hubby call ) i think you can book 3 rooms total with the Mill discount. (you are on AD?) they will need prof (LES or a copy of your ID)

Well, while I'm sorry to say that we will no longer be joining ya'll for this cruise, I'm happy that we were able to reschedule our cruise to work a little better for our calendars & have something planned for 2010 spring break....

But perhaps our change in plans will throw a little to someone out there who would like it, as we gave up our CAT2 to make the switch....hope ya'll enjoy!

Id be more than happy to start the list, is there a guide. This is my first Dis cruise well actually my first cruise ever. Anyway how do I go about starting it. I feel these are kinda dumb questions.

I don't think anyone else has done so Ill start the FE list. Please PM me if you are interested please include your cabin number, if you are celebrating anything, food allergies, kids ages etc. if you don't want your cabin number on the board let me know and Ill leave it off. I will email a master list 5 days before we set sail!

My DW and I were talking about our FE design and we decided to use recycled material. Thought this might be a fun project for the kids and a way to go "disboard" green. Ill post pics once we get ours done.

Jumping in here for roll call. We are with Discomouse party of 18.
Dh, Me in our cabin
Dd, Ds, and Dd's boyfriend in another cabin.
Plus 3 other cabins for the rest of the family
We can't wait, it has been about 19 years since we cruised on The Big Red Boat.
This will be wonderful to have all 5 of our kids and their familiy's to make new memories with.
What will we celebrate this year? Our wonderful FAMILY!
