Minnie Mouse

Take this quiz!

My DD had to have lots of ops as a child and I used to get pretty freaked about the general anaesthetic. Everything worked out OK and now she's a healthy 24 year old so try and stay strong, Jade...

This is my DH's 'result'! :lmao:

What can I say? He's in touch with his feminine/Tigg side... ;) :lmao:

That's too funny Karen! :lmao:

He sounds like a great guy~

He's loveable, helpful and believes in true love...

My daughter was a total klutz when she was little...

she literally fell down the steps a half dozen times, and always walked away unharmed thank goodness...she was the first one in the hospital, at 2 and a half she got her finger caught in a door jam and almost ripped the whole top off. She wound up with a chipped bone and two stitches. The fingernail actually held the finger together and the two stitches were used on the sides to help it heal back together. It looks a little longer now than it should be but is otherwise fine.

I put her in gymnastics at about age five and that seems to have cured her second left foot~

IOW~There's always something with kids, again, I am sending prayers and pixie dust that RT will be just fine

Very cool - came out as Mickey (right up there with Jill)...but one of my best blonde moments is coming out as i couldn't figure out how to post the right code to have the box show.....:confused3

Karen - i should send you my "4VR 40" license plate....but guess it won't do you much good over there...

Colleen - trust me (&Karen) once you hit those 40's - you will be so very surprized at how very cool they AND you are!!!

I made a Disneyland slideshow yesterday...check it out~

~Click here to see the Disney slideshow~

Niceeeeeeee~!!!!

got our flights for 10/05 -:woohoo: we'll stay off property....mostly because i 'bought' a 2-nite hotel stay at DS' high school spring fest auction - so better use those!!! We'll only get one full day & maybe spend sunday am at DTD this trip - but should be light enough crowds to hop over to CA for a little while...and still do/see everything we need to....then i'll be back there in November anyway....& MAYBE December or Jan - just because ;) ~ well really because it will be time to take DS

Great slideshow Tigg! :thumbsup2 It was good to be see you photos and be reminded of our DL trip...

I spent way too much of yesterday footling around on Photoshop, creating door magnet designs for our upcoming cruise. Still, I'm pleased with the results and have quite a collection - just got to coax the printer to into life! I'm particularly happy with this one I created for our vow renewal...

Karen - that is really cute....you're going to have such a fabulous time~~

Karen, That's a beautiful picture!

Very Nice ::yes::

Brenda, sounds like your planning is falling into place perfectly...I expect pictures from both of you when you return from your trips.

We leave for the beach in a few more days :woohoo:

I've been really busy the last two days around the house and still have lots more to do :faint: I finished touching up the kid's surfboard, brought home a bike rack, took inventory on all our skim, wake and boogie boards to see which are actually going, gotta finish laundry and get some suitcases out, and I still hafta do a Target run...tomorrow I head back to work so all this has to be done before the end of today~

Our first store page is ready!

I need to figure out how to get both logos on the page as options...check the link...

some of the pieces are offered in multiple color options, make sure you click onto the pieces to see if there's a different color you'd prefer~

My only dilemma~they don't offer bandanas :(

I will persue other printers to get us some bandanas made-no worries...

The store is as ready as it's gonna get~

Click the cafepress link above to view our store...I made it private so only those who find us here can access it. Cafepress handles all purchases, shipments and returns...Just an FYI...if you ever come across a Cafepress Coupon code, use it! and share it here please...sometimes the Budget Board folks will come up with one and any cafepress shop qualifies for the discount if you get a code.

It's been mighty quiet here this weekend, I hope that's cause everyone is having a good one.

I have been watching Hurricane Dean, as I am sure you have too Karen...thank goodness you aren't sailing for a little while~I pray you clear skies and calm seas for your vow renewal next month~

I'm Alice, which I think is pretty accurate!

I'm in North Dakota with Jesse visiting my brother and his family. We're staying on an Air Force base, and it's awesome! We're having a wonderful time, and will be home to New York on Thursday.

Tig, enjoy your well-deserved vacation! Two weeks at the beach sounds heavenly.:goodvibes

Karen and Brenda, I agree that the 40's is an ideal time. I was so immature (not in a good way) in my 20's, I was very busy in my 30's, and now in my 40's I've come into full bloom. I love being this age.

Jade, remember what Jill said, that she has been under anesthesia for dental work, and it's really very safe. Whoever used the word "fatal" to you really shouldn't have said that. We should be grateful that we have the medicines and technologies these days to make medical and dental procedures easier and more comfortable. RT will have a good nap while under the anesthesia, and will wake up with no memory of the procedure. I understand your worries, though...we moms are all alike when it comes to our kids. You have us all supporting you and sending prayers your way.

I'm very sleepy, so I'll say goodnight. I haven't had an internet connection for the last two days, so now that it's all fixed, I'll be back tomorrow to check in with you all.:grouphug:

Looks good, Tigg! :thumbsup2 I particularly like the spaghetti strap top... :goodvibes

Thank you! TBH we knew this was a big possibility when we booked and so we're up for whatever adventures come our way! And if the vr has to be indoors so be it - I'm sure it'll still be wonderful. Some of our cruise mates are veteran Hurricane season cruisers and, as they don't seem too worried, neither am I! I've got a Caribbean guide book so if we're diverted then I'll have some info on the revised Ports Of Call.

Jamaica looks pretty beaten up this morning and sounds like the Caymans and Mexico are in for a pummeling too. Just hope the inhabitants manage to stay as safe as possible...

How cute! You're the first Alice I've come across, Aisling! :thumbsup2

Happy to hear you're having a fab time. Is this the brother who's wife's recently had a baby?

I was thinking about myself over the decades following on from the 'Brenda and I enjoying our forties' conversation and I remembered just how wild I was in my late teens/v early 20's! Scary stuff - I'm just glad that none of my kids were like me. ;) I crammed a lot of life into those early years - marriage and baby at 19 with DH away at Oxford Uni; 2nd baby, psych nursing and 1st mortgage at 22. Richard & I used to call it 'juggling & struggling' and everyday life was fast and furious as I worked irregular shifts and he commuted quite a distance into the City of London.

Back then I was impulsive, hot-headed and hyperactive - exhausting for me and all those around me! I much prefer the mellow individual I've become - finally I'm content to just be me... :cloud9:

Been sitting back and reading only occassionally - just curious, where or how do you determine who you are most like? Hope all are well - just found our New Years Eve menus from 2003-04 cruise, kids and I got all excited, still seems like a LONG time till cruising:sad1:
