New Years Day at Orlando airport

Will be flying in on New Years Day and I am guessing there will be many exiting Disney on that day from their Christmas vacation. Anyone remember how crowded the airports were that day?

New years day is not that big of an exodus day at OIA. It probably will be the next day January 2.

I'm not sure if you're refering to MCO, but we flew into there on Jan. 1, 2005 and the activity was unremarkable, not more crowded than usual but not deserted either.

We flew out of MCO this past New Year's Day and the crowd level seemed quite normal. Not any more or less crowded than normal, as the previous poster mentioned.

We flew out of MCO on 1/1/2000 and MCO wasn't busy at all. People somehow thought planes would fall out of the sky.
