We are lucky enough to visit again this year over the holidays and would like some suggestions for family of four with son that has fish allergy. My husband does not go into parks. We have DVC so some restaurants will give discounts.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Where are you guys staying at? I can tailor the best options based on what’s nearest to your hotel.

I second this. OP if you can let us know where you are staying we can give suggestions that will keep your transportation to a minimum on NYE. Traffic will be quite bad that day.

Thanks everyone, Bourbon Steak menu looks good, and easy to walk to from boardwalk villas (sorry forgot to mention). But yes it is expensive, especially with exchange of canadian dollar. Yachtmans also serves steak, maybe not as expensive as Bourbon Steak. Yes New Years Eve is hard to get around, so should be something close. We could try Trattoria, they have good options too.

We had dinner at Yachtsman a couple times in recent years, when staying at BW on NYE. We time it with the first set of fireworks, so we can watch before or after dinner. Always delicious and fireworks at Epcot are great! Enjoy!

Ah, BoardWalk. You could try Yachtsman’s as previously mentioned, or you could try Ale & Compass.

What time would you suggest for a reservation to time it with the 1st fireworks? Is it difficult to re-enter Epcot after dinner?

The first set of fireworks are at 6:30, so depends on you and your group. Can eat then go see fireworks or see fireworks and then go eat. We have done both. I’d give yourself plenty of time if going to eat before the fireworks, and want to get back in time to see them in person… it’s a slower paced restaurant.

I’m worried that if we leave Epcot after the first set of fireworks we won’t be able to get back in for the celebration at midnight.

We originally thought we would have dinner inside Epcot on the 31st. It’s showing no availability for basically everything unless they haven’t dropped yet since it’s not the 60 day mark technically.

I understand. Honestly, we avoid parks on NYE. Typically spend the day shopping & hanging out at Disney Springs and then dinner somewhere. Not sure if I’d take that chance leaving. Good luck deciding!!

Thanks! It’s our first time at Disney (world or land) for NYE, so my family wants to be in park. I was able to grab a late lunch/early dinner at the Biergarten for the 31st, so at least we have a reservation in the park and hopefully we won’t be locked out. Probably my last choice of food at Epcot, but oh well.

Hold it for now and keep your eyes open for cancellations as you get closer!! Hope you have a great time!

Topolinos would be a great place to go to on New Years Eve as well as Citricos, we love both of those places
