It is the former Millenium Village space between Canada and United Kingdom in Epcot's World Showcase.

The recent World ShowPlace appearances have not been listed on the Times Guide which leads me to believe this may be a new location for training of the Characters' Friends,but I am just guessing.

The Millennium Village is the replacement to the MK Teardrop. DAK's Good Times Gathering Spot is the other replacement.

Thanks for the info(and pictures)!I just heard about the World ShowPlace Character location yesterday.

How long has it been "open"?

I think this area outside World ShowPlace is an excellent palce for training the Characters' friends!

They just started using the Millennium Village at the start of this year once the Tear Drop closed. If you look at this page you'll see all the other locations utilized for random characters. There are a couple at Epcot!

Nice web page! I noticed Launchpad McQuack at the AK - glad that it wasn't on the day we were there last week. My 18 year old daughter would wait in line a long time for a picture with Launchpad! She was lucky and saw Thumper and Mrs Bunny as soon as they came out and we got a great picture for her!
