I am new to this DVC and want to make sure I am understanding all of this completely. When we use points for our room...this also includes tickets for WDW? One ticket per person per day stay??? Park hopper and water park option??? And we can add dining??

Sorry if it sounds dumb but want to completely understand it.

Sorry to disappoint you but the points "pay" for your room only. You still have to buy park passes although there is a DVC member discount on Annual Passes.

At least that is my understanding as a relatively new member.

Hi, Shanna, and welcome! Are you a new DVC owner? If so, your membership qualifies you and your immediate family to buy Annual Passes at a discounted rate - $100 off a regular Annual Pass, and $125 off a Premium Annual pass. If you don't want an Annual Pass, you will need to buy your own tickets when you arrive. You can buy a multi-day pass, good for one park per day, or you can add a park hopper option that lets you into two or more parks a day. You can add a water park option, and you can also add a "no expire" option if for some reason you buy more days than you use and want to "save" the unused tickets for another trip.

You can add the Dining Plan - you must call Member Services (if you are the member) and add it at least 48 hours before you check in. You are required to pay for it in full when you check in.

If you are not an owner but are "renting" a DVC reservation from an owner, they will have to make your Dining Plan requests for oyu.
