I am thinking of changing the plan of my day, how does this sound? Will the timings work?

1430>1600 - Ceremony, cake cutting & photos

1630>1730 - Pre-reception/Cocktail Hour on the Grand1

1800>2030 - Chefs Domain at Citricos

2100>2200 - Epcot DP

It sounds lovely, but is 1 1/2 hours enough for ceremony/cake cutting/ and photographs?

our ceremony was at 2.30pm and we got to our pre recetion at around half four and that was just doing pictures, we then had around 20 mins before we cut the cake, we had a wishes wedding so it may be a bit different

I was told we could only stay at Sunset Point for 1 hour, so I then added 30 minutes to that for extra photos round the Poly. We could do the boat 1700>1800 though.

Our ceremony was at 2:30 and we didn't finish up with pictures and cake cutting until almost 5. After that we did dinner at Narcoossee's that took almost 3 hours and we asked them to be sure to keep it moving so we could be at the Grand 1 at 8:15. I think you're going to find there's not enough time for all of those - everything takes a bit longer than you'd imagine. Plus if you've already done cake and then a pre reception no one will be hungry for Citricos and a Dessert Party - by the time we did cake and Narcoossee's no one was hungry for anything else. I also think you'll need more than 30 minutes between finishing dinner and getting to your DP. I'd cut one thing, probably the Grand 1 and make dinner a little earlier.

We worried a lot about down time between cake cutting and dinner but in the end we didn't have any extra time at all.

I think the plan sounds lovely! I don't know about timing yet- but I do like the locations- it all sounds perfect!!
Congrats!!!

Thanks for that, we can't move the meal forward (unless we change restaurants) as its a set time.

How many guests did you have?

I'm just wondering whether if Claire has less guests than you dinner might be a bit quicker etc....

Our timing is very similar:
1430>1600 - Ceremony, cake cutting & photos

1615>1730 - Getting everyone to Citricos and having a few photos at the GF if possible

1730>2000 - Chefs Domaine at Citricos

2030>2130 - Morocco DP

As I mentioned on your PJ, I love the idea of chartering the Grand 1 before you meal!!!

We've got 10/11 people in total. As the Chefs Domaine at Citricos is a set time i'm assuming they are used to doing it that quickly.
