Anyone seen the new WDW commercial saying you can stay 7days/6 nights for a family of 4 for $1500.00? I just caught the tail end of it last night...unsure if the commercial was directly from Disney or some travel agency. I live in PA...anyone else seen it where they live, if so who do we contact to find out about it? TIA!

I believe that's just the newest commercial for the amount they've been promoting since the MYW packages began. I have never done the pricing myself, but I think it's a value resort in value season with base tickets.

There are a few new ones, all from Disney, Kelsey Grammar is the voice over, the $1500 promotion is the one they have been running since January 2005 - 6 nights at a value resort during value season, 7 day base tickets, a family of 4, 2 adults, 1 junior (age 10-17), 1 child age 3-9.

The ads have been in the sunday paper travel section too.

You can contact Disney or your travel agent.

It's the same offer, just slightly different ads. You can view all the details and even book it at www.disneyworld.com. If you look in the packages section or even the home page, you'll see a square ad for it. Just click & go!

Does anyone know when value season is? I looked ALL over disneyworld.com & couldn't find the seasons anywhere.
Not meaning to hijack the thread...
Thanks

when you look at resorts, towards the bottom of the page it says "rates", click that and it shows what value season is

FYI - Values and Mods have the same seasons, Deluxe and DVC resorts have another.....

The $1500 promo is also valid during regular travel season...it's just a lot closer to the $1500 total (approx. $1494) than travel in value season would be (approx. $1368.) I'm basing this on standard category rooms...preferred category would be approx. $12 more per night regardless of travel dates. I'm not including insurance either at $59.95 per adult or any park ticket add-ons, just the base ticket.

The only dates when the $1500 promotion is not available are Feb.16-April 22 (Peak season at approx. $1612) and Dec. 20-31 (Holiday season at approx. $1680.) Keep in mind that these are the pricing seasons for value and moderate resorts only, as mentioned above in another reply. The deluxe resorts (including DVC) and Ft Wilderness have slightly different pricing seasons.

Some things to remember about that price:

It assumes 2 adults, 1 Junior, and 1 Child occupying one room. It includes base tickets - no hopping, no water parks, etc. It does not include any food. It does not include any airfare. It is hotel and base park passes ONLY.

I recently discovered Value season for Deluxe resorts starts July 5! :hyper: That's why we are staying at AKL in August!
