New VWL Owners

Hi all the DH and I have just purcashed DVC-VWL and have a question....are all the DVC rooms located in the Villas area away from the main lodge---we specifically were wondering where the one bedroom units were....we were past SSR owners, and have stayed at VWL, in a studio, but were thinking of trying a one bedroom next trip.....thanks!!!!

Yes, all the VWL units are in a separate building away from the main lodge. I think the 1 BRs are sprinkled in - don't think there is a distinct area where all the 1 BRs are located. Many times a 1BR will be next to a studio, so that they can be opened and become a 2BR. I think those are called "lockoffs."

Enjoy the VWL - it's probably my favorite resort, although I don't own any points there yet!!!! But I will add on some day!!!

I don't think VWL has any dedicated 2 bedrooms, so all of the 1 bedrooms would be sandwiched between studios.

VWL is an entirely separate building from WL. There is an outdoor covered walkway from the front desk at WL to VWL. VWL does have it's own pool and Sturdy Branches, the fitness center is located there too.

VWL has 20 Dedicated Studios, 27 Dedicated 1Bdrm, 44 Dedicated 2Bdrm, 45 Lockoffs and no Grand Villas for a total of 136 Units (or 181 Max. Available Rooms). These are spread over each floor at VWL.
