New Virgin Planes - which one is it?

I am confused (not hard, I hear you say).

I am looking at, and reading other people asing, which are the best seats for the new Virgin planes.

However, on the Virgin website the new plane is a Airbus A330 but when you go to sites such as Seatguru, it is listed as A340. Are they the same thing or am I missing something here

Sites like Seatguru don't have the new planes(A330-300) listed yet, you can see seat config on VA's own site http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/allaboutus/ourfleet/index.jsp?type=14

sorry to jump in on your question but does anybody know if by may 2012 the new planes will be on both flights out of manchester or still just the mornig flight?

I think its same as this year but not 100% sure, maybe email VA if no-one answers.
